About Street Food Sat Down
At the heart of Street Food Sat Down, we're a family run business providing out of the ordinary event catering from a romantic meal for two all the way up to massive family weddings.
Street Food Sat Down brings all the latest street food trends to you to be enjoyed effortlessly. We're also developing our own range of sauces and ready meals so keep an eye on us.
Our love of food is global although each member of the team has their own personal favourites and we're particularly known for creating accessible Caribbean food which is becoming increasingly popular.
You'll commonly find Street Food Sat Down on twitter - @StFoodSatDown - and geographically spread between Birmingham, London, Liverpool and deepest darkest North West Wales.
We can also be found at Shrewsbury Food Festival which we're proud to have been able to support from the start as volunteers on the demonstration stage although at the 2014 show, you may have seen one of our members demonstrating one of our best known and most requested dishes on the Wenlock Spring Chef Demonstration Stage with the ever wonderful Colin Young from BBC Radio Shropshire's Trunk of Funk show.

About @SFSDTam
SFSDTam is more commonly known to family members, friends and colleagues as Tamara. An omniglot Scouser and the niece of a wonderful chef proprietor (in her own biased opinion) with a large family who loves parties. Food has been a life long passion since her first early taste of curried goat with rice and peas.
Thanks to an associated love of travelling, SFSDTam has developed a wide range of tastes although her true love swings between elegant and refined Japanese cuisine and the bold, punchy flavours of Jamaican cooking.
Tamara lives with her husband Dewi who is a hollow legged, constantly hungry yet slim Welshman in the up and coming food destination of South Anglesey.
When she's not obsessing over food, food festivals, learning more languages, studying for her Welsh A Level, trying to feed the neighbourhood cats and building Street Food Sat Down's empire of tasty and healthy sauces and ready meals and planning their distribution.
You will notice that the vast majority of the recipes shared on this site are gluten free as Tamara is a Coeliac and very bored of the lack of tasty food she can enjoy.
